“The SenArch solar IoT gateway solution can help enable IOT solutions, which we in Aarhus Municipality currently find it difficult to carry out. The scope for implementing IOT solutions will thus improve, then the range of applications becomes greater. With the data collected in this project, it will be possible to optimize the booking system for shelters, as there will be greater knowledge of the real use of shelters and not just where often they are booked. In this way, it will be possible to optimize the use of current shelters.
These data will be able to be used in decision-making about rules in the area and possibly establishing new ones in shelter areas.
The project will also be able to contribute to the Fleetoptimizer project, since sending location data from the municipality’s cars is not possible in some places, as there is no signal.”
